Our Heritage

We were founded by Jack Harned in 1974. In October 1982, after a period of significant growth, Jack Harned sold the company to United Transport, a division of BET PLC, a British conglomerate.

In 1993, John Harned, Jack’s son, reacquired the company from United Transport. Under the leadership of John, the Winter Haven, FL based company has grown and prospered to become one of the industry’s largest and most respected food grade carriers operating approximately 600 tractors and 1,200 trailers. The primary products transported are fruit juices and dairy products

Today, as an established industry leader, our team of transportation professionals is committed to providing customer satisfaction, developing enduring long-term customer relationships, achieving sustained organizational growth, and maintaining a company culture based on integrity and mutual respect.
